LINk is undertaking a short piece of work to see how easy it is for a member of the public to make a complaint or register a concern about health and social care services. We would be interested to hear from anyone who has an experience from the last 12 months that they would like to share with us. Please click on the feedback tab to give us your views, good or bad.
Following a successful piece of work carried out with Care Homes last year, LINk is undertaking further work to look at access to GP services by Care Home residents. A survey has been developed and distributed to all Care Homes in Gloucestershire. The survey report will be forwarded to the commissioners and providers.
LINk held a public event on 10th January at St Mary's Congregational Church in Gloucester. The majority of the comments collected related to delayed hospital discharge and concerns over personal budgets.
LINk visited Cinderford Rugby Club to deliver the fourth of its seven public events across the county. There was plenty of discussion with the main issues relating to transport into the urban centres of Gloucester and Cheltenham.
LINk held a public event at the Cotswold Care Hospice in Minchinhampton on 8th November to hear the views of Stroud residents on provision of local health and social care services in their area. The event was well attended with a lively exchange of views, many of which centered around concerns relating to the Social Enterprise Trust
LINk held the third of its public events at the parish centre in Cirencester yesterday. Amongst the views gathered were difficulties experienced in accessing locally provided audiology services.
The information event held by Gloucestershire LINk last week and hosted by Richmond Village was well received and attended.
LINk started phase 4 of its public events this year by visiting Bourton-on-the-Water last week. A successful event with the majority of comments collected relating to transport to the main hospitals in Cheltenham and Gloucester.

Gloucestershire LINk will begin its fourth phase of public events starting on the 15th September in Bourton-on-the-Water
